Funding Sustainable Solutions for Ocean Challenges

The Ocean Climate Fund (OCF) is set to debut at COP29. Led by Hub Culture, it benefits from insight & input from key global climate funding entities, for example the Green Climate Fund.

The initiative arose from Davos 2024, following Hub Culture’s addition of “Nature” (the Atlantic Ocean) to its board.

Read the case study and learn more about the importance of bringing Nature to the board room via The Onboarding Nature Toolkit

The first "waves" of the OCF will have an initial focus on countries along the Atlantic Rim and their coastal communities.

HOW?

Following Hub Culture’s social network ethos, we understand that effective collaboration among Academic, NGO, Institutional, Activist, Venture and Sovereign entities is crucial for the success of these initiatives.

Each of these communities plays a vital role in the fund ecosystem. Our aim is not only to support projects and innovations from grassroots to enterprise, but also to foster greater connectivity and collaboration within the community.

Through this interconnectivity, the OCF is able to leverage support of impactful technologies & knowledge centers, mobilising capital needed to create impact.
